Relating to natural resources; expanding the authorized use of money +in the off highway motorcycle and off highway and all-terrain vehicle (ATV) +accounts in the natural resources fund to enforcement and public education grants+ to local law enforcement agencies; requiring the preparation of environmental +assessment worksheets for construction of certain new motorized trails, +conversion of nonmotorized trail systems to motorized trail systems or development +of motorized recreational vehicle sports parks and exempting from +environmental review requirements formal designation of motorized trails lawfully +used by motorized recreational vehicles at the time of designation, rerouting+ of certain continuous segments of motorized trails for safety +considerations or to avoid sensitive areas or designation of existing public or forest +roads for motorized recreational vehicle use; appropriating money to the +commissioner of natural resources for grants to county law enforcement agencies for +off highway vehicle enforcement and public education activities, for trail +development and for the iron range off highway vehicle recreation area, authorizing +county grants from grant money received to local law enforcement agencies +within the county with high concentrations of off highway vehicle use (ja)
