  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to economic security; appropriating money to 
  1.3             provide employment support services to persons with 
  1.4             mental illness. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $390,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of economic security to be added to the base budget 
  1.9   for grants for programs that provide employment support services 
  1.10  to persons with mental illness under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.11  sections 268A.13 and 268A.14, to be available until June 30, 
  1.12  2005.  Of this amount, $70,000 is for cost of living adjustments.
