E Requiring felony inmates with a remaining term of imprisonment of + a certain number of days or less to serve the remainder of the term at a +workhouse, work farm, county jail or other local correctional facility, defining +remaining term of imprisonment; authorizing the commissioner of corrections in +consultation with the commissioner of administration to issue a request for +proposals by a certain date for operators to provide correctional facilities for +persons committed to the commissioner of corrections after a certain date for+ the care, custody and programming for state housed offenders with a remaining +term of imprisonment of a certain shorter length, requiring legislative +direction to proposal acceptance purposes; requiring the commissioner to report to+ the legislature by a certain date on the proposals obtained; repealing a +certain provision requiring the commissioner of administration to issue a +request for proposals and select a vendor to provide housing and chemical +dependency treatment for felony level driving while impaired (DWI) offenders (ra, ja)
