Modifying certain requirements relating to the surrender and +cancellation of certificates of title to manufactured homes placed on real property; +requiring surrender of certificates of origin or of title to the department of +public safety for cancellation and the provision of the legal description of+ the real property involved; prohibiting the department from issuing +certificates of title for manufactured homes after certificate of origin surrender, +requiring issuance of notices of surrender to owners, manufactured home to be +considered an improvement to real property upon surrender; exempting +certificates of origin or title for manufactured homes encumbered with perfected +security interests from the surrender requirement under certain conditions, +requiring notice to the county recorder or registrar of titles, specifying +certain notice content requirements, requiring additional notice upon release or +satisfaction of the security interests; exempting filed notices from the +acknowledgement requirement (Ch. 90, 2003)
