  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to traffic regulations; providing temporary 
  1.3             exemption from seasonal weight limits for certain 
  1.4             vehicles operated by individual sewage treatment 
  1.5             system pumpers. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [INDIVIDUAL SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEM PUMPER 
  1.8   VEHICLES.] 
  1.9      Until June 1, 2003, a weight restriction imposed under 
  1.10  Minnesota Statutes, section 169.87, subdivision 1, by the 
  1.11  commissioner of transportation or a local road authority, or 
  1.12  imposed by Minnesota Statutes, section 169.87, subdivision 2, 
  1.13  does not apply to a vehicle operated by an individual sewage 
  1.14  treatment system pumper licensed under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.15  section 115.56, and hauling sewage pumped from such a system. 
  1.16     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.17  following final enactment.
