"The Minnesota Museum Property Act", regulating loans to and +abandoned property of museums and archives repositories, defining archives repository, +loan, museum and property; specifying certain recordkeeping and notice +requirements of museums or archives repositories relating to property on loan to +the museum or repository and specifying certain loaned property owner notice +requirements relating to change of address or ownership; providing for acquisition+ to title of abandoned property under certain conditions, notice requirements, +requiring notice publication upon return of undelivered notice to the museum or repository; providing for museum or repository response to owner +claims for the property, costs of return or disposal to be the responsibility of the+ owner or claimant, providing for the determination of validity of certain +other claims received; providing for acquisition to title of undocumented +property, public notice requirement, providing a presumption of gift to the museum; +authorizing museum application of conservation measures to property on loan +without permission of or formal notice to the lender under certain protection conditions, museum to acquire a lien on the protected property; +exempting the museum from liability for injury to or loss of the property under +certain conditions (Ch. 213, 2004)
