"Assisted Reproduction Act", authorizing and providing for gestational surrogacy and embryo agreements; defining certain terms; regulating the donation of gametes, authorizing and providing for reasonable compensation; requiring and providing for an embryo agreement before creating an embryo using assisted reproduction, specifying certain agreement participation and content requirements, authorizing and providing for agreement termination; providing for mental health evaluation and assisted reproduction counseling for gestational surrogacy agreement purposes, specifying qualifications for persons to practice in assisted reproduction counseling and certain counseling and evaluation requirements and providing for written recommendations relating to gestational surrogate or intended parent suitability for participation in collaborative reproduction, for evidence of meeting the counseling requirements and for the availability of a written summary to other intended parents or gestational surrogates, confidentiality provision; specifying certain gestational surrogacy agreement requirements, authorizing reasonable compensation, prohibiting the agreements from limiting the right of the gestational surrogate to make mental or physical health decisions; providing for district court review and approval of the agreements and for pregestational determination of parentage, enforceability; providing for the confidentiality of proceedings, records and identities of individual parties to gestational surrogacy agreements, for court exclusive continuing jurisdiction over matters arising from the agreements and for termination of the agreements; subsequent marriage of a gestational surrogate not to affect the validity of the agreement; providing for the intended parent and for donors relinquishment of rights, responsibilities, interests and control over the gametes, embryo or resulting child and for inheritance rights under gestational surrogacy and embryo agreements, a child resulting from assisted reproduction not to be an heir of the donor and donor to have no rights of inheritance against the child or the estate of the child; specifying certain renumbering and reference correction instructions to the revisor of statutes(mk)
