  1.2             relating to youth policies; authorizing a study and 
  1.3             report. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [STUDY AND REPORT ON YOUTH POLICY.] 
  1.6      The Minnesota Alliance With Youth may conduct a study on 
  1.7   state policy concerning youth between 12 and 23 years of age 
  1.8   including the possibility that all programs serving those young 
  1.9   people be consolidated under one government agency. They may 
  1.10  report their recommendations to the appropriate committees of 
  1.11  the house of representatives and senate by December 15, 2002.
