Relating to child care assistance; requiring counties to request social security numbers of or other documentation on each child eligible for subsidized child care from child care assistance applicants, prohibiting the denial of assistance for refusal to provide the social security numbers; requiring counties to request certain information for child care providers providing care for families receiving child care assistance; requiring parent fees under the sliding fee scale to be paid by the family to the county; eliminating the authority of counties or the state to make vendor payments directly to parents; requiring providers to keep detailed logs of dates, times and hours of care provided for submission with monthly billings for parent and provider signature purposes; restricting county or state reimbursement to providers to the actual amount of care provided to families participating in the child care assistance program; providing for the crime of wrongfully obtaining child care assistance (welfare fraud),. disqualifying offenders from the child care assistance program for certain periods of time based on the number of offenses (mk)
