  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Douglas county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER; DOUGLAS COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, Douglas county may sell the 
  1.10  tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in 
  1.11  paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota 
  1.12  Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.13     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.14  attorney general.  
  1.15     (c) The land to be sold is located in Douglas county and is 
  1.16  described as: 
  1.17     Lot 4, Block 1, Cedar Hills 1st Addition, Section 8, 
  1.18     Township 130, Range 37. 
  1.19     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.20  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  1.21  returned to private ownership.
