E Modifying certain provisions regulating the nursing profession; requiring recognition by the board of nursing of licenses to practice professional or practical nursing issued by border states for reciprocal practice in Minnesota under certain conditions, requiring the reporting of employment under licensure privilege to the board of nursing for list maintenance purposes, authorizing disciplinary action by the board for failure to report; regulating practice under reciprocal licenses; requiring the board to seek nurse licensure reciprocity with border states; regulating overtime for nurses; prohibiting actions by health care facilities licensed by the commissioner of health against nurses declining to accept assignments of additional consecutive hours in excess of a normal work period for patient safety purposes, excepting nursing, intermediate care (ICF MR) and licensed boarding care facilities, housing with services establishments and emergency situations from the prohibition (mk, ja)
