  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; redirecting an 
  1.3             appropriation to Minneapolis Community Development 
  1.4             Agency; amending Laws 1998, chapter 404, section 18, 
  1.5             subdivision 4. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Laws 1998, chapter 404, section 18, subdivision 
  1.8   4, is amended to read: 
  1.9   Subd. 4.  People, Inc. North Side Community 
  1.10  Support Program                                         375,000
  1.11  For a grant to Hennepin county 
  1.12  Minneapolis Community Development 
  1.13  Agency to purchase, remodel, and 
  1.14  complete accessibility upgrades to an 
  1.15  existing building or to acquire land or 
  1.16  construct a building to be used by the 
  1.17  People, Inc. North Side Community 
  1.18  Support Program which may provide 
  1.19  office space for state employees.  
  1.20  The grant is available when matched by 
  1.21  at least $175,000 from nonstate 
  1.22  sources.  This appropriation is from 
  1.23  the general fund.
