  1.2             relating to transportation; appropriating money to 
  1.3             match funds for studying extension of North Star 
  1.4             commuter rail corridor. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR STUDY TO EXTEND NORTH STAR 
  1.7   COMMUTER RAIL CORRIDOR.] 
  1.8      $150,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of transportation to study the feasibility of 
  1.10  extending the North Star commuter rail corridor between 
  1.11  Minneapolis and St. Cloud north of the city of Little Falls.  
  1.12  This appropriation must be used to match federal funds.
