  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             Project ReConnect. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $500,000 in fiscal year 2002 and $500,000 in fiscal year 
  1.7   2003 are appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner 
  1.8   of human services for increased grants to Ramsey county to 
  1.9   double the size and effect of Project ReConnect, a collaborative 
  1.10  effort of the Ramsey county community corrections, human 
  1.11  services, and public health departments.  These appropriations 
  1.12  are in addition to the base appropriations for grants in the 
  1.13  2002-2003 biennium.
