Modifying certain provisions governing the public employees retirement association ARTICLE 1Defining or redefining certain terms including included employees and excluded employees for PERA coverage determination purposes, providing for optional coverage for certain employees; limiting participation in the public employees police and fire plan by volunteer ambulance services personnel ARTICLE 2Modifying the definition of allowable service and defining compensated hours for PERA benefits determination purposes, limiting annual accrual of allowable service credit and requiring employer reporting of compensated hours in a payroll period ARTICLE 3Increasing the employee contribution rate and modifying certain amortization requirements ARTICLE 4Defining vesting for PERA benefits eligibility purposes and modifying the vesting requirements for certain disabled and police and fire fund members; providing for refund of a portion of accumulated matching employer contributions to certain members upon termination of service; modifying a certain provision providing for refund of repayments and for computation of deferred annuities under the police and fire plan ARTICLE 5 Requiring and providing for the commissioner of revenue to pay a certain additional amount of aid to local government units for PERA general plan employer contributions and increasing the employer contribution rate for coordinated members(ra)
