  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education finance; extending a planning 
  1.3             grant; amending Laws 2000, chapter 489, article 7, 
  1.4             section 15, subdivision 3.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Laws 2000, chapter 489, article 7, section 15, 
  1.7   subdivision 3, is amended to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 3.  [COOPERATIVE SECONDARY FACILITY FACILITIES NEEDS; 
  1.9   PLANNING AND EXPENSES.] For a grant and administrative expenses 
  1.10  to facilitate planning for a cooperative secondary facility 
  1.11  under a joint powers agreement or to otherwise evaluate school 
  1.12  facilities needs for school district Nos. 411, Balaton, 402, 
  1.13  Hendricks, 403, Ivanhoe, 404, Lake Benton, 418, Russell, 584, 
  1.14  Ruthton, and 409, Tyler: 
  1.15         $100,000     .....     2001
  1.16     This is a one-time appropriation.  This appropriation is 
  1.17  available until June 30, 2002. 
  1.18     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.19  following final enactment.
