  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; providing for a rate 
  1.3             increase for a nursing facility in Carver county; 
  1.4             amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 256B.431, by 
  1.5             adding a subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 256B.431, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 31.  [NURSING FACILITY RATE INCREASE BEGINNING JULY 
  1.10  1, 2001.] A nursing facility in Carver county licensed for 33 
  1.11  beds and four boarding care beds shall be allowed a rate 
  1.12  increase equal to 33 percent of the rate increase that would 
  1.13  have been allowed if subdivision 26, paragraph (a), was not 
  1.14  applied for the rate year beginning July 1, 1999, and trended 
  1.15  forward by the operating cost adjustment factor for the 2000 and 
  1.16  2001 rate years and effective to the rate year beginning July 1, 
  1.17  2001.
