  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $1,700,000 is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 
  1.8   2003, to the commissioner of natural resources to make grants 
  1.9   from the stream protection and improvement loan program under 
  1.10  Minnesota Statutes, section 103G.705.
