  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to traffic regulations; establishing speed 
  1.3             limit on marked interstate highway 35E in St. Paul at 
  1.4             55 miles per hour; amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, 
  1.5             section 169.14, by adding a subdivision.  
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 169.14, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 5f.  [INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35E.] The commissioner shall 
  1.10  designate the maximum speed limit on marked interstate highway 
  1.11  No. 35E in the city of St. Paul, from its intersection with West 
  1.12  Seventh Street to its intersection with marked interstate 
  1.13  highway No. 94, as 55 miles per hour.  Any speed in excess of 
  1.14  the speed designated in this subdivision is unlawful.
