  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the arts; appropriating money for the 
  1.3             Theater in the Park proposal in the city of St. Paul. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of administration for a grant to the city of St. 
  1.8   Paul to design the Theater in the Park proposal for reuse of the 
  1.9   east building of the former Science Museum of Minnesota.  This 
  1.10  appropriation is available until June 30, 2003. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
