  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to drivers' licenses; appropriating money to 
  1.3             commissioner of public safety to retain present state 
  1.4             driver examination stations. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR DRIVER EXAM STATIONS.] 
  1.7      $....... is appropriated from the trunk highway fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of public safety and is available through June 30, 
  1.9   2003, to pay for the state's share of costs to provide improved 
  1.10  services and retain those driver examination stations operating 
  1.11  on the effective date of this section for Minnesota driver's 
  1.12  license applicants. 
  1.13     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.14  following final enactment.
