Appropriating money to the commissioner of transportation (DOT) for final design costs and right-of-way acquisition for commuter rail in the Northstar corridor linking downtown Minneapolis and the St. Cloud area, for a grant to the Rush Line corridor joint powers board to implement potential transit improvements in the Rush Line corridor linking St. Paul and Hinckley, to the Dakota county regional rail authority for environmental studies and preliminary engineering in the Cedar avenue corridor to link certain transit corridors with Dakota county and for preliminary engineering and environmental analysis activities for a certain section of the Midwest regional rail corridor; appropriating money to the commissioner and authorizing the issuance of state bonds for the implementation of commuter rail in the Northstar corridor, for engineering and implementation of an intermodal connection in downtown Minneapolis between the Northstar corridor commuter rail and the Hiawatha corridor light rail transit (LRT), for a grant to the Red Rock corridor commission joint powers board for environmental and engineering studies of commuter rail linking downtown Minneapolis, downtown St. Paul and Hastings and for environmental studies, preliminary engineering and implementation of major transit improvements in the Central corridor linking downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul(je)
