  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to traffic regulations; directing the 
  1.3             commissioner of public safety to develop a public 
  1.4             awareness plan concerning need for drivers to reduce 
  1.5             speed near stopped emergency vehicles. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [SPEED REDUCTION AWARENESS.] 
  1.8      The commissioner of public safety shall develop and 
  1.9   implement a long-range plan to promote awareness among drivers 
  1.10  of the need for reduced speed in proximity to stopped emergency 
  1.11  vehicles.
