E Relating to peace officers; authorizing the peace officer standards and training (POST) board to deny, suspend or revoke licenses of full or part time peace officers for fraud or misrepresentation in obtaining a license, failure to meet licensure requirements or violation of standards of conduct and to suspend or revoke licenses upon discovery of a disqualifying conviction after licensure; changing the requirement for the board to annually report to the legislature on activities of the minority recruiter to an annual report on information provided to the board on recruitment information and enrollment statistics from Minnesota state colleges and universities (MnSCU) institutions providing the professional peace officer education program; repealing a certain provision authorizing mayors and council members of certain cities to act as peace officers to suppress riotous or disorderly conduct and to designate process officers with town constable powers (ra, ja)
