"Darlene Luther Anatomical Gift Act"; unrevoked anatomical gift designations made by will, by designations on drivers licenses or identification cards or by health care directives to establish the intent of the person making the designation, prohibiting override; requiring the use of certain methods for donor revocation of anatomical gifts for validity purposes; expanding the content requirements for the pamphlet accompanying the application forms for drivers licenses or permits or Minnesota identification cards to the legal implications of making anatomical gifts including the law governing revocation; requiring the commissioner of public safety to distribute with applications for and renewals of drivers licenses or identification cards a notice prepared in conjunction with a Minnesota organ procurement organization and certified by the federal department of health and human services with a fair and reasonable description of the organ donation process, the care of the donor body after death and the importance of informing family members of the donation decision and a telephone number to call with questions (Ch. 349, 2002)
