  1.2             relating to agriculture; requiring a study of and 
  1.3             report on certain grain inspection fees; appropriating 
  1.4             money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [GRAIN INSPECTION FEE STUDY; REPORT; 
  1.7   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   department of agriculture for fiscal year 2002 to pay for a 
  1.10  study by a private consultant of the grain inspection fees 
  1.11  charged by the department for rail car inspections.  The 
  1.12  commissioner shall report to the chairs of the committees in the 
  1.13  senate and the house of representatives with jurisdiction over 
  1.14  agriculture issues by January 15, 2002, on the results of the 
  1.15  study.
