HF 1153 Senate Long Description

Exempting certain smaller county, city, town or school district noninstitutional or nonassembly building projects from the requirement to employ an architect under certain conditions; requiring the board of architecture, engineering, land surveying, landscape architecture, geoscience and interior design in conjunction with certain local government organizations to study and analyze certain buildings and structures constructed by local government units without the use of licensed architects or engineers to determine the public health, safety and welfare endangerment factor and report to the legislature by a certain date; requiring the board to develop and implement a program by a certain date to educate local units on the requirements for using architects and engineers in the construction of public buildings and structures (Ch. 172, 2001 - VETO)
