Relating to education; modifying certain requirements under the graduation rule relating to completion of content standards; authorizing school districts to use outstanding work from each grade level as exemplars for measuring student work; requiring basic skills and profile of learning requirements to be developed and implemented independently of national education goals; delaying implementation of the profile of learning; eliminating the advisory committee and requiring the commissioner of children, families and learning to convene an advisory group composed of qualified experts and interested stakeholders to recommend scoring criteria and recordkeeping practices under the profile of learning, requiring the commissioner after reviewing advisory group recommendations to evaluate the software available to implement the scoring criteria and recordkeeping practices, to certify the availability of the software to record and report performance levels by a certain date and to work with school districts to develop and implement a uniform system of measuring and reporting student performances; modifying certain performance package and statewide testing requirements (ra)
