  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; requiring that the food 
  1.3             portion of the MFIP grant be available at the same 
  1.4             time as the MFIP cash assistance grant. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [FOOD PORTION OF THE MFIP GRANT.] 
  1.7      The commissioner of human services shall make available the 
  1.8   food portion of the MFIP assistance grant at the same time the 
  1.9   MFIP participant receives or is able to access the portion of 
  1.10  the MFIP assistance grant used for ongoing needs.
