  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to government jurisdiction; requiring the 
  1.3             pollution control agency to administer a memorandum of 
  1.4             understanding on underground injection control. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCY AUTHORITY.] 
  1.7      The commissioner of the pollution control agency must 
  1.8   administer the provisions of a memorandum of understanding on 
  1.9   underground injection control, dated March 5, 1998, on fee and 
  1.10  nontrust lands in the townships of Kathio, South Harbor, and 
  1.11  Isle Harbor. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
