Requiring the state board of teaching to annually report to the legislature on the total number of teacher candidates during the most recent school year taking the skills examination, the numbers achieving and failing to achieve a qualifying score on the examination, the distribution of candidate scores, the number of candidates previously taking the examination and achieving a qualifying score and on the performance of teacher candidates on common core assessments of knowledge and skills; requiring the board to consult with representatives of faculty and administrators from state post-secondary institutions with approved teacher preparation programs and to report to the legislature by a certain date on institution rule opinions (ra)
