Relating to technology in education; expanding Minnesota learning academy training opportunities to school media and information technology professionals and requiring the commissioner of children, families and learning to identify and establish outcomes for a series of training courses on new and emerging technologies to be taught to the professionals; requiring proposed projects for library site technology grants to meet existing Minnesota technical standards appropriate to the project; expanding eligibility for site based technology learning grants to certain additional libraries; expanding the database access program for public libraries and school media centers to state agency and public or private college or university libraries, modifying eligibility and eliminating the availability of graduation rule resource grants for the program; appropriating money to the commissioner for the library site technology grant and database access programs and the learning academy (ja)
