  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; increasing the MFIP exit 
  1.3             level to 140 percent of the 1998 federal poverty 
  1.4             guidelines; appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $....... is transferred from the state's federal TANF block 
  1.8   grant to the commissioner of human services for the biennium 
  1.9   beginning July 1, 1999, for purposes of increasing the MFIP exit 
  1.10  level to 140 percent of the 1998 federal poverty guidelines.
