E Relating to the financing of election campaigns; increasing the limits on campaign expenditures for the offices of attorney general, secretary of state and state auditor; increasing the amount allowed to be contributed by candidates accepting public subsidies to the campaign of the candidate by candidates losing the general election to pay political committee debts; expanding the prohibition on contributions during regular legislative sessions to lobbyists or political committees, authorizing principal campaign committees to contribute to legislative party units and extending the prohibition for candidates for governor and lieutenant governor for a certain period of time after adjournment of the legislature; specifying certain codification instructions to the revisor of statutes relating to the increased limits, requiring the campaign finance and public disclosure board to adjust the limits for subsequent general election years (ra, ja)
