E Regulating the practice of traditional midwifery; defining the scope of practice, specifying certain practice limits; regulating professional conduct, specifying certain practice standards, client records maintenance, reporting and informed consent requirements; requiring development of a medical consultation plan for licensure eligibility purposes; protecting the use of certain titles; specifying certain requirements for licensure and providing for licensure by reciprocity or equivalency, authorizing the issuance of temporary permits under certain conditions; requiring and providing for annual license renewal; providing for inactive status, for licensure following lapse and for cancellation of licensure in good standing; specifying certain continuing education requirements; requiring the board to appoint an advisory council on licensed traditional midwifery, specifying membership requirements and duties; imposing certain license fees and penalties, fees to be nonrefundable; repealing certain existing provisions providing for the licensing of midwives and certain rules (ra, ja)
