  1.4             universities to change the name of the New Main

  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  [G. THEODORE MITAU LIBRARY.] 
  1.9      The board of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and 
  1.10  universities shall change the name of the New Main building on 
  1.11  the Metropolitan state university campus to G. Theodore Mitau. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.13     $....... is appropriated in fiscal year 2000 for a bust, 
  1.14  plaque, or other commemorative item of G. Theodore Mitau to be 
  1.15  placed at the G. Theodore Mitau building on the Metropolitan 
  1.16  state university campus.
