  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education funding; adjusting the 
  1.3             referendum revenue amount for independent school 
  1.4             district No. 277, Westonka. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [REFERENDUM ALLOWANCE; WESTONKA.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 126C.17, 
  1.8   subdivision 2, the referendum revenue allowance for independent 
  1.9   school district No. 277, Westonka, for fiscal years 1998 and 
  1.10  later, is the amount actually approved by the district's voters. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [LEVY ADJUSTMENT.] 
  1.12     Any levy authority authorized under section 1 for fiscal 
  1.13  years 1998, 1999, and 2000 may be added to the levy limits for 
  1.14  independent school district No. 277, Westonka for taxes payable 
  1.15  in 2000 or 2001.
