Requiring the commissioner of human services in consultation with the commissioner of children, families and learning to develop a truancy prevention pilot program to prevent tardiness and ensure school attendance by children receiving assistance under the Minnesota family investment program-statewide (MFIP-S), specifying certain program requirements, requiring referral of frequently tardy or absent cases to county social services agencies for assessment and development of corrective action plans, imposing sanctions for failure to comply with the plans; requiring the commissioners to develop procedures to implement the transmittal of data on student attendance to county social services agencies for program implementation purposes; requiring a commissioner of human services report to the legislature by a certain date (ja)
