  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to employment; appropriating money for the 
  1.3             Minnesota employment center for deaf and 
  1.4             hard-of-hearing people in greater Minnesota. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA EMPLOYMENT CENTER FOR 
  1.7   DEAF AND HARD-OF-HEARING PEOPLE.] 
  1.8      $250,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.9   commissioner of economic security for grants to the Minnesota 
  1.10  employment center for deaf and hard-of-hearing people in greater 
  1.11  Minnesota, $125,000 to be available for the fiscal year ending 
  1.12  June 30, 2000, and $125,000 to be available for the fiscal year 
  1.13  ending June 30, 2001.
