Modifying certain provisions regulation service of process and certain notice requirements of the secretary of state; clarifying the requirement to return documents to the public record after the honoring a rejected or dishonored payment order; reducing the number of copies of service of process on business entities and foreign corporations required to be filed with the secretary of state; eliminating the requirement for the secretary of state to receive sheriff notices for out of state interests; modifying certain limited liability partnership name requirements and clarifying certain other provisions regulating the use of names; clarifying a certain provision providing for electronic access to the computerized filing system relating to secured transactions under the uniform commercial code (UCC) by private parties (rla)
