Expanding the definitions of peace officer and law enforcement agency to include peace officers and law enforcement agencies of federally recognized Indian tribes; specifying certain requirements of tribal law enforcement agencies in the exercise of authority relating to liability, bond or insurance coverage and data practices; requiring and providing for certain cooperative agreements, providing for concurrent jurisdictional authority with county sheriffs; clarifying the effect of the provisions (Ch. 175, 1999)
