  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the construction of ring dikes. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; RING DIKES.] 
  1.6      $1,600,000 in fiscal year 2000 is appropriated from the 
  1.7   general fund to the commissioner of natural resources for the 
  1.8   construction of ring dikes under Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.9   103F.161.  The ring dikes may be publicly or privately owned.
