  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the community rehabilitation program. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [COMMUNITY REHABILITATION APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $5,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal 
  1.7   year 1999 for transfer to the housing development fund for the 
  1.8   community rehabilitation program under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.9   section 462A.206.  In expending this appropriation, the housing 
  1.10  finance agency must give preference to economically viable 
  1.11  projects in which there is a contribution from nonstate sources.
