  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the environment; allowing soil and water 
  1.3             conservation districts to reimburse supervisors at a 
  1.4             mileage rate determined by the district; amending 
  1.5             Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 103C.315, subdivision 
  1.6             4. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 103C.315, 
  1.9   subdivision 4, is amended to read: 
  1.10     Subd. 4.  [COMPENSATION.] A supervisor shall receive 
  1.11  compensation for services as the state board may determine, and 
  1.12  may be reimbursed for expenses, including traveling expenses, 
  1.13  necessarily incurred in the discharge of duties.  A supervisor 
  1.14  shall be reimbursed for the use of the supervisor's own 
  1.15  automobile in the performance of official duties at the rate per 
  1.16  mile prescribed for state officers and employees.
