  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to the housing finance agency; appropriating 
  1.3             money for nonprofit capacity building grants. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $65,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1999 from the 
  1.7   general fund to the housing finance agency for transfer to the 
  1.8   housing development fund for the nonprofit capacity building 
  1.9   grants program under Minnesota Statutes, section 462A.21, 
  1.10  subdivision 3b.  This appropriation is for grants to supplement 
  1.11  resources from the corporation for national service in support 
  1.12  of placement of VISTA volunteers with nonprofit housing agencies.
