  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; appropriating money for local 
  1.3             bridges. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR BRIDGES.] 
  1.6      $34,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of transportation to be disbursed as grants to 
  1.8   counties, statutory and home rule charter cities, and towns to 
  1.9   construct, reconstruct, repair, and rehabilitate bridges within 
  1.10  their jurisdictions.  This appropriation does not lapse but is 
  1.11  available until spent.
