Introduction - 80th Legislature (1997 - 1998)

  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; providing for legislative 
  1.3             approval prior to adoption of certain rules. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [RULE ADOPTION.] 
  1.6      The state board of education may continue its proceedings 
  1.7   to adopt rules pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 121.11, 
  1.8   subdivision 7d, but the board must not take final action under 
  1.9   Minnesota Statutes, sections 14.131 to 14.20, to adopt such 
  1.10  rules until specifically authorized by law to do so. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
