  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to 
  1.3             immediately relocate capital square building's tenants.
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [CAPITAL SQUARE BUILDING.] 
  1.6      $3,118,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of administration to immediately relocate the 
  1.8   department of children, families, and learning and the higher 
  1.9   education services office from the capital square building.  
  1.10  This appropriation is for relocation and additional rent costs.  
  1.11  Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 16B.24, the 
  1.12  commissioner of administration must return the capital square 
  1.13  site. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
