  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; requiring commissioner of 
  1.3             transportation to expand capacity on a segment of 
  1.4             marked interstate highway 94. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [HIGHWAY PROJECT.] 
  1.7      The commissioner of transportation shall, at the earliest 
  1.8   feasible date, undertake a project to expand capacity on marked 
  1.9   interstate highway No. 94 from its intersection with Hemlock 
  1.10  Lane in Maple Grove to its intersection with Hennepin county 
  1.11  highway No. 81 in Brooklyn Park, to provide a minimum of three 
  1.12  lanes of mixed-use travel in each direction.  The project is not 
  1.13  subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 473.166.
