  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; appropriating money 
  1.3             for the construction of a campus entrance at Inver 
  1.4             Hills community college; authorizing the sale of state 
  1.5             bonds. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [CAMPUS ENTRANCE.] 
  1.8      $595,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to the 
  1.9   board of trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and 
  1.10  universities for the costs associated with constructing a new 
  1.11  entrance to the campus that was required by the cutoff of the 
  1.12  main entrance due to the extension of Highway 52. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [BOND SALE.] 
  1.14     To provide the money appropriated in this act from the bond 
  1.15  proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance, on request of the 
  1.16  governor, shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount 
  1.17  up to $595,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the 
  1.18  effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 
  1.19  16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 
  1.20  4 to 7. 
  1.21     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.22     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
